🎙️ HOG POD: JEREMIAH DAVENPORT

Jeremiah Davenport has seen what an Eric Musselman coached team can do. A grad transfer from Cincinnati, Jeremiah knew this was the place for him to continue his long journey in basketball … one that started from a young age in a family that was always around the sport. His late father—who tragically passed away in 2021—had a major impact on his life, and he carries those lessons with him today.

Jeremiah’s drive helped him become a member of Cincinnati’s 1,000-points club, and he’s looking forward to a great final season with the Razorbacks. Bo Mattingly sits down with him in the second part of our series getting to know the Razorback basketball transfers.

Razorback Head Coach Sam Pittman and Host Chuck Barrett discuss the Hogs’ 7-3 loss to Mississippi State from Donald W. Reynolds Razorabck Stadium. 🔺 Not One, Not Two, Not Three... In scoring four more goals than Ole Miss, the Arkansas soccer team clinched a share of its fourth SEC regular season championship in five years! The Hogs took down the Rebels 5-1 Sunday afternoon in front of the fourth-largest crowd to ever assemble at Razorback Field.

Five different Razorbacks found the back of the net. All-time points leader Anna Podojil netted the 49th goal in her storied career, and fellow forward Ava Tankersley also put one in and has now scored a point in the last six matches. The Hogs outshot the Rebels 27-6, with the 27 shots being the most in an SEC game this season for them.

Arkansas’ regular season concludes Thursday against Mississippi State, and a win would secure the program’s third outright league title.

🔺 For the first time since 2014... Arkansas volleyball has beaten Tennessee in Knoxville. The Razorback’s 16th consecutive victory came in four sets over the Vols, their first dub in Tennessee in nine seasons. Senior Taylor Head had a standout performance with a personal-best 24 kills and 21 digs, her 12th double-double of the season. Arkansas would fall to Kentucky on Sunday in five sets, but 18-3 is the program’s best 21-game start in history.

🔺 Show’s Back In Town. No. 14 Arkansas nearly crossed the century mark in its 92-39 exhibition win over UT Tyler Friday night at Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks made 11 3-pointers, including two from Khalif Battle who scored a game-high 14 points. Arkansas forced 20 turnovers and held UT Tyler to just one 3-pointer made.

The Hogs have one more exhibition remaining this Saturday against third-ranked Purdue. Tip-off inside BWA will be at 3pm.
