Arkansas’ football season has reached its halfway point. Get caught up on some exclusive Hogs+ content as we start the second half of the season.

Hear wide receiver Andrew Armstrong’s story in this episode of the Hog Pod. Andrew has always followed his "Plan A," even when biding his time at the D2 level. Now, he's become a standout receiver for the Razorback football team.

Tag along with defensive lineman Cam Ball as he enters the kitchen, along with a few of his other fellow teammates, at the Fayetteville Public Library to prepare meals for the local Ronald McDonald House charity.

Follow kicker Cam Little throughout his history-making performance at AT&T Stadium in the 2023 Southwest Classic. He is the first kicker to hit two 50+ field goals in a game for the Hogs since Steve Little in 1976.

🔺 Fall Classic. Arkansas’ annual Fall World Series is set for next week at Baum-Walker Stadium. The Razorbacks will conclude the 2023 fall baseball season with a best-of-three series, featuring seven-inning intrasquad scrimmages between Team Cardinal and Team Gray.

First pitch in game one is set for Monday, October 16 at noon. Click here for the full schedule and more info. All games and parking are FREE.

🔺 Come Sayl Away. We’re now inside four weeks until the season-opener for Arkansas women’s basketball, so here are four fun facts about our No. 4, Saylor Poffenbarger, from last season:

• She was a five-time SEC Freshman of the Week, which broke a program record and led the conference

• She started in all 37 games, which tied the school record

• She set a new Arkansas record with 225 defensive rebounds in a single season

• She ranked third in the SEC in defensive rebounds/game (6.1)

🔺 Full Circle. After a playing career that ended up lasting eight years in the NBA, Ronnie Brewer has experienced plenty of highs in the game of basketball. Now that he’s back with the Razorbacks as a coach, he’s experiencing an even greater sense of enjoyment helping other players succeed to greater heights. In this episode of the Hog Pod, we go inside how Ronnie Brewer’s lifelong love of the Razorbacks and basketball has led him back to Fayetteville, where he’s trying to make a difference for the next generation.

🔺 Top Marks, Low Scores. Both Arkansas golf teams closed things out yesterday at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. The eighth-ranked men’s team ended up at 27-under-par, the eighth-best 54-hole score program history, and had two top-10 finishes from Jacob Skov Olesen and John Daly II. Jacob tied for fifth place at 12-under-par thanks to a 65 from his final 18, and John ended up tied for 10th at 10-under-par after going below 70 in each of his last two rounds.

Arkansas’ top-ranked women’s team wrapped up play at two-under-par and Maria José Marin and Reagan Zibilski both tied for 12th at 1-under-par. Maria led the tournament in pars with 39, while Reagan’s final score is her new a career-best.
