🏆 EMMY AWARD

Hogs+, the official content network for Arkansas Athletics, won a Mid-America Regional Emmy Award for its Sports Interview/Discussion category for the film series, Switzer. The series chronicles the life and career of legendary football figure Barry Switzer. This is the second Emmy for Hogs+ — the team took home an Emmy in 2023 for its work with Do You Believe in Fairytales, a film on the women’s basketball team’s Final Four run in 1997-98. Hogs+ has earned five Emmy nominations throughout the years

🔺 Road Hogs. Razorback men’s basketball defeated Memphis 99-75 at the FedEx Forum last night! Freshman Meleek Thomas led all scorers with 23 points, adding seven rebounds and four steals. Fellow freshman Darius Acuff Jr. scored 17 with seven assists. The Hogs turn to the regular season, which begins Monday at Bud Walton Arena.

🔺 Hall Of Fame Hog. Arkansas women’s golf head coach Shauna Taylor will be inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame in December. Taylor, who has led the Razorbacks to 17 consecutive NCAA Regional appearances and three fifth-place finishes at the NCAA Championships, will be honored for her transformative impact on the program.

🔺 Running Point. Arkansas men’s basketball freshman Darius Acuff Jr. is one of 20 players nominated for the 2026 Bob Cousy Award, recognizing the nation’s top point guard. Acuff, a highly-rated recruit, received numerous accolades in high school, including being named the top-ranked point guard by 247Sports and ESPN.
