Kelsi Musick is bringing a new team, and a new level of intensity, into year two at Arkansas. The Razorbacks' women's basketball head coach sits down with Tera Talmadge to discuss rebuilding the roster, adding homegrown talent like Whitley Rogers, and putting her own spin on “40 minutes of hell.” From an aggressive defense to a faster offense, Musick shares how she’s building a gritty team that will give fans a reason to keep coming back to Bud Walton Arena.

🔺 Talking Season. Razorback men’s basketball will be represented by John Calipari, Billy Richmond III, and Cooper Bowser at SEC Tipoff today. Calipari’s press conference streams at 4:50 p.m. on SEC Network+ and the ESPN App.

🔺 Built To Last. Arkansas checked in at No. 6 in D1Baseball’s Top 100 Programs rankings. This ranking evaluates the strength of a program, weighing sustained success alongside factors such as coaching, facilities, and player development. The Hogs’ resume includes 424 wins since the start of 2017 and at least 40 victories in each of the last nine full seasons.

🔺 Ticket for Two. Arkansas men’s tennis duo Brendan Boland and Connor Smillie are headed to the NCAA Doubles Championships after winning the doubles title at the ITA Central Region Championships. They’re the program’s first doubles pairing to qualify since 2024, and November will mark the first NCAA doubles appearance for both Razorbacks.

🔺 Twice as Nice. Razorback cross country’s Nick Busienei earned his second SEC Freshman of the Week honor of the season after finishing 16th at the Nuttycombe Invitational, covering the 8K course in 22:55.4. Arkansas climbed nine spots to No. 7 nationally following its fourth-place team finish.
