🎙️ THE HOG POD

In this episode, we dive into the remarkable journey of Adou Thiero, a rising star on the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team. From a late growth spurt and being overlooked in high school to earning a senior-year offer from John Calipari at Kentucky, Adou’s story is one of perseverance and transformation. We explore his connection to Calipari, who also coached Adou’s father at Memphis, and how that bond shaped his approach to the game. Adou shares insights into his challenging freshman year, his decision to transfer to Arkansas, and the transformative summer that elevated his game.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Tennessee Tumble. The 23rd-ranked Razorbacks didn’t start the SEC portion of the season like they wanted to, falling to No. 1 Tennessee 76-52. The Volunteers out-rebounded Arkansas 51-29. D.J. Wagner led the Razorbacks with a season-high 17 points. Arkansas returns to Bud Walton to play Ole Miss on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

🔺 Trouble In Texas. The women’s basketball team lost their first SEC road game to No. 5 Texas 90-56. Izzy Higginbottom led the Razorbacks with 23 points, adding four rebounds and two assists. It was her 17th-straight game in double figures. Carly Keats scored 11 points with four rebounds as well. The Razorbacks will remain on the road to play at Auburn on Thursday.

🔺 Meet The Newcomer. Razorback football picked up another offensive lineman during the portal window! Marcus Dumervil comes to Fayetteville after spending two seasons at Maryland and three at LSU. The 6’5 305 lb lineman made three starts at left tackle last season, blocking for the No. 3 passing offense in the Big Ten. He is the nephew of five-time NFL Pro Bowler Elvis Dumervil.
