🔺 Historic Hog. Arkansas guard Darius Acuff Jr. was named SEC Freshman of the Week for the fifth consecutive time, averaging 22.5 points and five assists in two SEC road games. He is the first player in SEC history to earn the honor five times in a row and the 13th in league history to earn the honor at least five times in a season.

🔺 Five On It. Razorback softball placed five players on Softball America’s Preseason Top 100 list! Transfer outfielder Dakota Kennedy led the pack at No. 19 overall and fourth in the outfield. Pitcher Robyn Herron came in at No. 30 on the list and eighth among all pitchers ahead of her senior season. Directly behind her at No. 31 is third baseman Ella McDowell, who made history as Arkansas’ first freshman to earn NFCA All-America honors last season. She ranks third among third basemen nationally. Outfielder Reagan Johnson checked in at No. 70 and 14th across outfielders as she enters her senior season. Pitcher Payton Burnham landed at No. 84 going into her sophomore year.

🔺 Lucky No. 7. Arkansas baseball is ranked No. 7 in D1Baseball’s preseason poll! The SEC leads all conferences with 11 teams in the top 25. The Hogs will begin the season on Feb. 13 at the Shriners Children’s College Showdown.
