🔺 Season’s Greetings. Razorback gymnastics season began over the weekend when Arkansas finished fourth at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. They finished with a score of 195.875 to start the season. Freshman and Olympian Joscelyn Robertson tied for first in the all-around with a score of 39.475, the second-highest ever by any freshman Gymback. She also tied for second on floor, behind her Team USA teammate Jordan Chiles.
🔺 Chomped. The men’s basketball team fell to No. 8 Florida 71-63 on Saturday. It was a game of runs and the Gators seemed to answer each time. Arkansas posted season highs in free throws made with 24 and free throw attempts with 35. Adou Thiero led the Razorbacks with 17 points before fouling out. Boogie Fland added 15 with four assists, while Jonas Aidoo had 11 points and nine rebounds. The Razorbacks will play at LSU tomorrow at 8 p.m.
🔺 AloHogs. The men’s tennis team started 2025 with two wins at Hawaii. On Thursday, they defeated the Rainbow Warriors 6-1. They continued the dominance on Friday night with a 5-2 win. The Razorbacks took the doubles point on both days.
🔺 HigginBuckets Strikes Again. The women’s basketball team fell to No. 16 Tennessee 93-63 despite another stellar performance from Izzy Higginbottom. The SEC’s leading scorer led the Razorbacks with 26 points and six rebounds. It was her 10th game with at least 25 points. The Hogs will play on Sunday when they host No. 18 Alabama.
🍸 A DAY TO REMEMBER
Tuskers Tavern has a full-length bar with lots of seating and a quaint, library or living room-type vibe to relax and wind down. There’s also a small patio for those days when the sun is calling your name. The bar is here to provide another option for those on the east side of town to gather in a comfortable, upscale atmosphere. Whether it’s for a drink after work or you want to meet friends for a bite to eat and connect – Tuskers is the perfect place.
