📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Hagen’s Heat. The best pitcher in college baseball was named College Baseball Foundation National Pitcher of the Year, and his name is Hagen Smith. He becomes the second pitcher in Razorback history to win the award, joining Kevin Kopps. The junior finished the 2024 season with a 9-2 record, 2.04 ERA, and 161 strikeouts.
🔺 Pryce Is Right. Razorback sprinter Nickisha Pryce was named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2024 Women’s Bowerman Award! She’s the eighth semifinalist from the Razorback women’s track & field program in the history of the Bowerman. Three finalists will be named on June 24. Nickisha was the leader of the 1-2-3-4 Razorback sweep of the 400m in the NCAA final.
🔺 Iron Masters. Two Razorback football strength & conditioning coaches have earned the highest honor they could achieve from the CSCCA. Director of Strength & Conditioning Ben Sowders and Associate Director of Strength & Conditioning Ryan Gearhart were named Master Strength & Conditioning Coaches. The title represents professionalism, knowledge, experience, expertise, and longevity in the field.
🔺 Heat Rises. Current Diamond Hog Tate McGuire is throwing heat in summer ball! He made his Cape Cod League debut with the Wareham Gatemen one to remember. He threw 4.1 innings of shutout baseball with five strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA. The proof is right here.
