📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Tuesday Takedown. The Diamond Hogs extended their Baum-Walker winning streak to 22 after beating San Jose State, 5-1. Ben Bybee made his second start of the season count, striking out four batters through five innings. SEC Freshman of the Week Nolan Souza came up big yet again with two RBI. Wehiwa Aloy hit his ninth homer of the season and went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Ben McLaughlin also hit a moonshot to center field, his fifth of the season. They’ll play the Spartans again today at 1 pm on SEC Network+.

🔺 March On The Mound. The month of March proved to be Hagen’s month on the mound. Hagen Smith was named the Dick Howser Trophy National Pitcher of the Month by the NCBWA. The Arkansas ace went 5-0 with a 0.96 ERA and 0.71 WHIP through 28 innings. He limited opposing hitters to a .129 batting average while throwing four double-digit strikeout games. He’s the first Razorback to receive this monthly honor since Kevin Kopps in 2021.

🔺 Double Trouble. Two track & field Razorbacks earned SEC Athlete of the Week honors this week. Kason O’Riley was named Field Athlete of the Week after taking second in the high jump. His mark of 7-2.5 matched the winning height and equals No. 8 on the UA all-time list. John Scott Kendricks earned Freshman of the Week after winning the pole vault in his first outdoor competition of the season. His winning height matches No. 10 on the school’s all-time list.

🔺 Finished Strong. The 11th-ranked men’s golf team finished the regular season with a third-place finish at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at Virginia. The team tied with No. 31 North Florida and No. 41 Northwestern at 1-over. Jacob Skov Olsen tied for seventh-individually and John Driscoll III tied for 10th. They’ll return to the golf course for the SEC Tournament on April 24.

🔺 10-4. The connection between quarterback Taylen Green and wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa just keeps growing throughout spring practice. TeSlaa sat down to tell his story from being a high school quarterback, to a wide receiver at a DII school, to choosing Arkansas and lighting up the field last season.
