Arkansas ace, Hagen Smith, had one goal during the offseason—to go from a good pitcher to a great pitcher. He’s already tied the program record for strikeouts and was named National and SEC Pitcher of the Week! Media outlets have taken notice nationwide — including The Athletic, Barstool Sports, and MLB.com.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Consider ‘Em Cleared. The Razorback bats were hot in yesterday’s 21-1 run-rule win over Grambling! Arkansas had 20 base hits for the first time since 2018. The beer hats were a success when the bases were loaded, two Razorbacks hit grand slams! Hudson Polk cleared the bases on his first at-bat of the season, then Jayson Jones went yard twice for a two-run homer and a grand slam. Arkansas will host Murray State this weekend, starting at 3 p.m. on Friday.

🔺 It Was A Battle. Arkansas men’s basketball came up three points short in the 85-82 loss to Vanderbilt last night. Khalif Battle picked up where he left off, leading the team with 36 points. He has scored 78 points in his last two games. El Ellis scored 19 to tie his season-high, and he reached 1,000 career points! They’ll hit the road to Kentucky for a Saturday afternoon matchup with the Wildcats.

🔺 Hogs Hit the Road. The men’s tennis team is embarking on a three-game road trip, starting today in Dallas. They’ll take on SMU at noon today, before heading to Tennessee to face the Volunteers and Tennessee Tech this weekend. The Razorbacks are coming off a 4-0 sweep over Lamar last weekend.

🔺 In The Polls. Let’s see where Razorback teams landed in this week’s polls!

• Women’s Track & Field remains No. 1 heading into the NCAA Indoor Championships. The men’s team moved up to No. 2 after winning the SEC Title.

• Baseball came in at No. 2 in the D1Baseball and Perfect Game rankings. They’re ranked No. 3 by Baseball America and No. 4 by USA Today Coaches.

• The Gymbacks were ranked No. 12 after getting their highest ranked win in eight years.

• Softball landed at No. 15 in the USA Today/NFCA poll, No. 16 in D1Softball and ESPN/USA Softball’s poll, and No. 18 by Softball America.

• Women’s Tennis moved up 20 spots to No. 43 and the men’s team moved to No. 47 in the ITA Team Rankings.
