🏈 INSIDE SPRING FOOTBALL: SAM PITTMAN

Arkansas’ head football coach Sam Pittman sits down with Tera Talmadge to discuss Spring Practices and preview the Hogs upcoming Spring Game this Saturday at noon.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Rollin’ With Nolan. There have been some great Nolan’s to come through Arkansas, and Nolan Souza is the latest. The Razorback infielder was named SEC Freshman of the Week after a dominant weekend. He hit three home runs and led the team with nine RBI. He slashed .571/.571/1.286 throughout the week. The Honolulu, Hawai’i native had three multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games.

🔺 All About That Base(ball). Razorback baseball remains the unanimous No. 1 team after sweeping Ole Miss over the weekend. They’ll host San Jose State tonight at 6 pm on SEC Network+. This will be the first of five games this week. The Hogs are riding a program-record 21 game win-steak when playing inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium.

🔺 Knockin’ ‘Em Down. The 41st-ranked men’s tennis team took their fourth-straight ranked win yesterday! They defeated No. 51 Rice in sweeping fashion, 4-0. The win pushes the Hogs to 18-9 overall, the most wins in a single season since 2016. They’ll be back at home tomorrow to play UTRGV at 5:30 pm.

🔺 Major Moves. Pro Hog Heston Kjerstad was named the first Triple-A Player of the Week this season! He led all Minor Leaguers with six home runs, 21 RBI, and 33 total bases through just six games. He currently plays for the Norfolk Tides as the Orioles No. 4 prospect.

🔺 Spring Fling. Get your first look at the 2024 Razorback football team on Saturday at the Red-White game! The game is free and open to the public. They’ll kick things off inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium at noon, but there’s plenty to do beforehand. Try your shot at a free Sunrise Yoga session from 8-9 am inside Gate 14! Register here now. After your yoga session, head on over to HogTown in Lot 44 for live music and a classic car show.
