🔺 Golden Boy. Razorback fans shouldn’t be surprised that Hagen Smith is a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award! He’s one of three finalists, and the only pitcher, as one of the best players in college baseball. Hagen finished the season with a 9-2 record, 2.04 ERA, and 161 strikeouts. He’s Arkansas’ all-time career and single-season strikeout leader. The award will be presented at 6 p.m. on June 22 on ESPN before game one of the College World Series.

🔺 Talking My Language. Day one of the NCAA Outdoor Championships was a successful one for Lance Lang. He took the final time qualifying spots in the 100m and 200m finals. The 4×400m relay squad also advanced after running the second-fastest qualifying time. Wayne Pinnock scored four points for the Razorbacks as he finished fifth in the long jump. The No. 1 women’s team will compete today in 12 events. The first event of the day will be the 4×100m relay at 7:32 p.m. CT. The Razorbacks brought home the NCAA Indoor title back in March.

🔺 On Course. Razorback men’s golfer Jacob Skov Olesen was named second team DI PING All-America by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He’s the 27th Razorback to earn GCAA All-America honors. He became the first Razorback to finish the season with a below 70 scoring average.

🔺 Go D.J. Transfer guard D.J. Wagner is officially a Hog! He was an SEC All-Freshman at Kentucky last season, where he averaged 9.9 points and 3.3 assists per game. He ranked seventh in the SEC in assist/turnover ratio and 12th in assists per game. The New Jersey native was the McDonald’s All-American Game MVP and New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year for three-straight seasons. Fun fact: his father Dajuan played for Coach Calipari at Memphis.
