🔺 Title Town. The men’s track & field team won the SEC Championship, once again! This is their fourth-straight SEC Outdoor team title and completes an SEC triple crown. Arkansas secured the title by winning the 4×400m relay in school record-setting fashion. Patrick Kiprop won the 5,000m with a meet record time. Jack Turner won the decathlon, Romaine Beckford won the high jump, and Wayne Pinnock won the long jump.

🔺 Shining Silver. The women’s track & field team took second at the SEC Championships. They totaled 110 points to finish behind LSU’s 126. The Razorbacks took the 1-2-3 sweep of the 400m as all three Hogs finished under 50 seconds. Sanu Jallow came in second-place in the 800m with a school record time. Rachel Glenn also placed second in the high jump. The 4×400m relay crew took bronze to finish the meet.

🔺 Comeback Season. The Diamond Hogs battled to score nine unanswered runs on Sunday to take the series win over No. 14 Mississippi State. The weekend started off with a 7-5 comeback win on Friday after Hagen Smith dealt 11 strikeouts for his program-record 10th double-digit strikeout game of the year. Jared Sprague-Lott went 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored and a solo homer in the win. The Hogs fell on Saturday to cause a Sunday rubber-match. The Bulldogs opened up Sunday’s game with a 6-0 advantage, before Arkansas scored nine unanswered runs to win the series, 9-6. Hudson White hit a two-run homer to the Hog Pen before Peyton Holt hit a go-ahead homer in the sixth.
