🎥 BEHIND THE SCENES

An evergreen business. Throughout his time as the head of Arkansas baseball, manager Dave Van Horn has planted and cared for over 100 trees with tender, love, and care. The seeds he originally planted for the Diamond Hogs have grown beautifully over the last two decades as well.

In this episode of the Hog Pod, join senior contributor Clay Henry as he sits down with DVH for a conversation about baseball, managing a program, and life in general.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Finish How You Start. That's exactly what No . 17 Arkansas softball did this weekend, winning two of three against No. 10 Florida.

Friday night belonged to Hannah Gammill at the plate, and Chenise Delce on the mound. Hannah blasted two home runs in the 6-2 victory, while Chenise tossed her eighth complete game with five strikeouts. It was Arkansas' first-ever home victory against Florida.

The Hogs finished the series with an exclamation point Sunday afternoon in a 14-1 dismantling. Half of the Hogs' runs were from Rylin Hedgecock, who had a career-high SEVEN RBIs! Chenise returned to the rubber for another complete game and seven more Ks.

🔼 Friday Night Fireworks. When the Diamond Hogs get hot, they stay hot. That was the case Friday night against No. 1 LSU when Reese Robinett’s pinch-hit home run was the catalyst for an eight-run 10th inning. No. 5 Arkansas' win over the top-ranked team in the country not only secured the longest in-season winning streak since Dave Van Horn took over 20 years ago, it was also the first home loss LSU suffered this season.

Now 20-4 on the year, Arkansas is back in Baum-Walker tomorrow night against Omaha.

🔼 Two Will Do. The Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic was unfortunately canceled after two rounds, but that didn't stop Reagan Zibiliski from having a successful weekend. The Razorback golfer put together a score of +1 (72-73) in 36 holes at the event, taking a top-15 finish of T-14th.

🔼 Shutting The ‘Dores. Arkansas women’s tennis made it three in a row in conference play on Friday, defeating No. 28 Vanderbilt, 5-2.

The No. 23 doubles pairing of Indianna Spink and Morgan Cross grabbed their eighth-straight victory, and Lenka Stara and Grace O’Donnell earned the doubles point with a ranked 7-5 win over the No. 58 doubles pairing for Vandy. Freshman No. 85 Carolina Gomez-Alonso also secured a ranked win in singles play.

🔼 Super Conclusion. The Super 16 belonged to Arkansas women’s basketball as the Razorbacks took down Texas Tech by a score of 71-66, to advance to the Great Eight, where Arkansas would unfortunately fall 72-62 to Kansas.

Makayla Daniels showed out in the Razorbacks' final win of the year, putting up 21 points and eight rebounds, while Chrissy Carr added 17 points.

Arkansas' 24 wins for the year is the third-most in program history, and the most since the 2019-20 campaign.
