Good Morning. Wednesday’s are much better when you wake up after two Razorback wins! The Hogs got it done on the diamonds last night.

Razorback Film Room. Former Razorback & current SEC Network basketball analyst Pat Bradley joins Matt Zimmerman to break down the film on Tennessee transfer Jonas Aidoo.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Brought That Wood. The Diamond Hogs took down Missouri State, 12-7, last night at Baum-Walker Stadium. Gage Wood fired three shutout innings and distributed four strikeouts in his first career start on the mound. The pitching staff combined for 15 strikeouts. Wehiwa Aloy added his 11th home run of the season in grand slam fashion. Jared Sprague-Lott added a little insurance with a homer in the bottom of the eighth. The two teams will play again tonight at 4 pm on SEC Network+.

🔺 Sweet Victory. Razorback softball took care of business on the road at UCA last night with an 8-0 run-rule win. Robyn Herron shut down the Sugar Bears in her fifth complete-game shutout of the year. Nia Carter tallied a career-high three hits for the third time this season. Kennedy Miller hit her seventh homer of the season in the sixth inning. They’ll return to Bogle Park this weekend to host Ole Miss.

🔺 A+ For Bea. Razorback soccer star Bea Franklin received the SEC’s highest honor yesterday, she was named the H. Boyd McWhorter Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year! She will receive a $20,000 post-graduate scholarship. Bea carried a 4.000 GPA and was named SEC and CSC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2023. She was also a two-time president of the SEC SAAC and a CSC Academic All-American. She’s currently playing for the NWSL’s Chicago Red Stars.

🔺 Wayne’s World. Razorback track & field’s Wayne Pinnock was named SEC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week! He opened his outdoor season at the LSU Invitational with a long jump win at 27-8.25w. His performance is the 2024 outdoor world-leader under all-conditions.

🔺 Meet The Newcomer. We’re introducing you to 6’11 senior forward Jonas Aidoo, one of the newest members of Coach Calipari’s Razorback men’s basketball team! He transfers to Arkansas after spending three seasons at Tennessee. He was named First Team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team last season. Jonas scored 629 points and 496 rebounds over his last three seasons. In high school, he was the top prospect in North Carolina. Check out his highlights!
