Razorback Brew 3/25: First pitch crushing

Today, Ryder Helfrick needs just one pitch to leave his mark.

Good Morning. Spring is fully in the air as the regular season marches on for Arkansas baseball and softball, and postseason action for Razorback gymnastics and swimming.

Here’s what we have for in today’s Brew:

🎥 Face-to-Face with Eric Mateos
⚾️ Waste no time…or pitches
🐗 And so much more!

🎙️ HOG POD: ERIC MATEOS

Livin’ the dream. Eric Mateos is the new man at the helm of the Razorbacks' offensive line. But, it's not his first time working under Sam Pittman at Arkansas.

Ten years ago, Mateos served under then-offensive line coach Sam Pittman as a grad assistant as he tried to break into division I football from the JUCO ranks. Since then it's been full speed ahead—coaching at programs like LSU, BYU & Baylor before coming full circle and landing the job as offensive line coach at Arkansas.

In the newest episode of the Hog Pod, Bo Mattingly dives into his journey, working under Bobby Petrino and what makes Sam Pittman the only man he would drop everything and move across the country for when he came calling.
